American Girl

Payton has wanted an American Girl Doll for about a year now. She has been saving her money and finally had enough to go and get one. She has been studying the catalog for months, she practically had it memorized. She was soooo excited to go. She even had her outfit picked out the night before.

I had no idea what to expect. I don't know if they had American Girl when I was little, if they did, I wasn't aware of it. I made lunch reservations at the Cafe. Everything was black, white and pink. They had cute little seats so your doll could sit at the table with you. Payton was in heaven.

Here we are at our table. They even had a little box of questions that could be used as "conversation starters".
Payton and Aunt Shae showing off the dessert. By the end of lunch, P could care less about dessert, she just wanted to go get her doll.

She decided on Rebecca Rubin. The doll actually looks a lot like P.

It was a great day and quite and experience! You could spend hours and lots of money there! P loves her doll, she has played with it non stop. Today they both wore their hair in the same style. :)

4th of July

We started the 4th at the park for a pancake breakfast. I was supposed to run (walk) the 5k with all my buddies but I slept in-oops! Next year. We spent 4th of July at the Bullock's. It has become a tradition. We spend all day swimming and eating and then we light fireworks illegally in the backyard. It is a great day!

"The Dude"-love the expression on his face.

M-check out the chipped tooth

Dad and his girls

Pat Pat, Ronda and Mamoo-see the yummy food-that 7 layer dip is also a tradition

Check out the two grandpas relaxing in the hot tub

Self photo of E and me (this is the only way I get in any pictures-if I take them of myself)

Everyone gathered to watch the fireworks- Vic always sprays down the trees before the fireworks show.

Father's Day

**No that is not Wyatt in a pink sweater-that is M about 3 years ago**

For Father's Day Bill got breakfast and then we went to church and then to his parents and then to my parents-a lot in one day.

The girls posted hearts all over the house with
"I love you because..."
You tell good stories
You take me to Disneyland
You are a hard worker
You watch Fall Guy with me
You help me catch lizards
You are my friend
You buy my candy
You play hide and go seek with me
You go swimming with me

Those girls LOVE their daddy-and I do too

Sea World

For Christmas Bill's parents gave us 2 day passes to Sea World. They expired at the end of June-nothing like using them at the last minute. We got a great deal on a hotel and spent two days at Sea World.

The night before-getting lots of sleep before day two.

Feeding the bat rays-totally cool!

Starfish in the touch tank

Having a great time

You can't tell here but P is SOAKING wet- Bill took the girls on Shipwreck Rapids, I will never forget watching them go by and seeing the twins screaming "mommy!" as buckets of water were dumped on their heads.

Cool sharks

This bird would not stop staring at the girls all through lunch-they were so scared!

When it was time to leave this jumper our wonderful girls would not exit. Bill had to go in and retrieve each one-poor guy.

The HUGE meltdown that the girls had after being removed from the play area for not listening.
The junebug that got in our car on the ride home and kept landing on everyone causing the girls to scream and cry as we drove on the freeway. No one was able to relax the whole ride home for fear it would land on them. Bill was finally able to feel it under his feet and squish it- yuck!

We had a lot of fun and some great memories-thank you Mamoo and Baboo for the passes.

Park City 2009

Over Memorial Weekend the family made a trip to Deer Valley, Utah.

This trip was in honor of Pat Pat
. A year ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer. It has been a tough year. She finished her last chemotherapy session right before the trip and we felt a celebration was in order! Shae had "Live Strong Pat Pat" bracelets made and we all wore them during the trip. She has been so strong through this whole thing, sometimes we forget she is sick. LOVE YOU MOM!

We got to visit cousin Maizie. The girls just love her. Wish we lived closer so they could see each other more often.

P found a snake and is holding it here. She is the adventurous one in the family, just like her dad. When the rest of "the girls" decided to go shopping she opted to go fishing with her dad and grandpa. Bill's dream is for her to NOT be "high maintenance". Hmmmm we shall see. :)

Cascade Springs-
When Bill and I were dating a bunch of us would "4-wheel" up this trail in Provo Canyon. It ended at Cascade Springs. It really is beautiful and it was fun to share it with our kids. The trail is now closed so we came in from the back on a dirt road, a much smoother ride.

We were so excited to go on the Alpine Slides! We rode the lift to the top, got our sleds and just as we were taking this picture it began to RAIN!!! They closed the slide and we had to ride the lifts back down in the rain. Bummer

We waited out the rain and the girls got to go on this fun jumping thing.

Tiny P-continued

Tiny P was awarded the"Awesome Test Taker" award at the end of the year assembly.
She had a great first grade year.

She was "little pig" and "baby bear" in her end of the year class presentation.

We celebrated her birthday at the beach this year. We had beautiful weather.

E & M loved the cupcakes-thankfully I had wipes on hand.

Baby Blessing

Today we were able to bless "the dude". Bill did a fabulous job and gave a great blessing. We were lucky to share the experience with family and friends.

You never know what mood tiny P will be in-apparently it was not a good day for her. :)

Grandpa Lyle

Great Grandma Marge Bullock-
Wyatt gets his middle name from her late husband and her oldest son (Bill's father).
