Cousin Maizie comes to visit

Baboo Vic turned 70 in the beginning of November. We celebrated by going to Knott's Berry Farm with Maizie, Brady, Mamoo and Baboo. After a day at the park the kids had a slumber party. They camped in the living room in tents and sleeping bags. A good time was had by all.

Awards Assembly

Miss P was awarded the SENSATIONAL STORYTELLER award. According to her teacher she not only knows how to write a good story but also knows how to present one to the class. She even received a standing ovation when she read her haunted house story to the class.
Way to go P!

Miss M also got an award at the assembly. Unfortunately this was M's FIRST assembly ever. When her name was called she was a little shocked and did not know what to do. So...she started to cry and refused to go to the front to receive her award. I had to go to the front with her and receive the award while she was crying and clinging to my leg. We got a great picture.

A little while later when she learns that getting an award is a "good thing".

Thanksgiving Feast

The kindergarten class had its Thanksgiving Feast on Friday at school. The kids had a great time making lots of crafts and eating yummy treats. They also put on a cute presentation of Thanksgiving songs. I was so glad I was able to be there to see it.

Angels, a Vampire, & a Moth-Oh My!

Halloween 2010

Miss P decided to be a VAMPIRE-gone are the days of princess costumes for her.

M & E actually decided to be the same thing this year-actually E wanted to be something else but it was all sold out-so she decided to be an ANGEL too.

Mr Wyatt had no choice in his costume. My friend Tara let us borrow this MOTH costume- I thought it was soooo cute. Wyatt loved it too-he kept pointing to his wings and antennae. Bill said this is the first and last year he will wear a costume with tights! While we were trick or treating a lady asked us what he was, when I told her he was a moth she said "Oh my gosh, that is so sad!" I don't know that meant but I guess she didn't think a moth was a cute as I did. :)

Bill was playing with P's fake blood capsules. He put one in and then told my mom he cut his mouth. She totally fell for it and was so concerned for him. Typical Bill.

Pumpkin Patch

Annual trip to the pumpkin patch. It was fun to have the dude more involved this year.

Apple Picking

A few weeks ago we decide to go apple picking. We had never done it before and we had a great time. The ranch we visited was huge and had a variety of apples to pick. We went through a corn maze and ate some raspberries off the the vine. The kids had a great time and we brought home lots of apples to share.

P's First Parade

Miss P has been taking baton lessons for about a year now. She really enjoys it. She had the opportunity to walk in the Tiller Parade.

The girls were soooo cute! Their coach told them to do whatever tricks they wanted as they walked the parade route. They were definitely entertaining.
