FINALLY

After 7 years (4 years of consistent work) we have our house permits! I made Bill take a picture to prove that it was actually REAL! I still can't believe it and probably won't until we actually break ground.

What does this mean? We pack up all our stuff (AGAIN) and move out (AGAIN) but this time something actually happens!

We plan to take lots of pictures along the way so check back to see where we are in the process. Wish us luck.

Halloween...with the stomach flu

Our whole family came down with the stomach flu this past week. The dude got it on Tues. I got it on Wed. M got it on Fri on the way to school. E and P got it Fri night. You know your kids are sick when they don't even WANT to put on their costume and go trick or treating. Only Mr Bill did not get sick.

We usually have a big party and have friends over for dinner and trick or treating. This year we warned everyone about the potential to contract some type of weird disease, only the very brave decided to attend. :)

Pat Pat and the dude-Pat Pat wears this costume every year, it has become a tradition. This year she added the feather boas.

E put on her costume but just stayed on the porch to hand out candy.

Mamoo and the dude

Baboo Sherwood-every year he shows up from work in the same outfit but with a new addition-this year he added the scary mask. Who knows what he will add next year.

America's Next Top Model?

My mom and dad bought the girls a giant Fashion Show tent for their birthday. It is big enough that all 3 girls can stand up inside and make "clothing changes" It has a red carpet catwalk in the front. They were sooooo excited! We got out the boom box and put on the High School Musical 3 CD and had our own little show. I was the paparazzi taking pictures. It was quite an experience.

The best part was watching them strike a pose. The twins weren't quite sure what to do. P was a natural and was coaching them the whole time.

The "tent" is still up in my front room. So, if anyone feels the need to practice their catwalk skills, come on over.

4th Birthday

The twins turned 4!
I can't believe it. We had their party at a fun gymnastics place where they could run, be loud and, have fun.

The girls and Tallon, their best friend. They are in the same class at church and they go to school together. It also helps that his mom and I are great friends too. We will be so sad when they move. Who will we go to chick filet with?

I made the frosting for the cupcakes. Apparently the girls do not like strawberry, oops! I don't think they ate the cupcakes.

The girls got "big girl bikes" for their birthday. They look so cute riding around. M took a spill on the first corner and has not been back on the bike since.

E is fearless. She loves going fast. She has fallen many times and just gets right back on.

Shae and JR's Wedding

Shae and JR got married September 25, 2009. They were sealed in the Newport Beach Temple.

Everything was beautiful! They are a great couple.

Bill and "the dude" just hanging out. The dude is sporting his totally hip tuxedo bib-fashionable yet functional. He slept most of the night, so that was nice.

The reception was held on a yacht that sailed through Newport Harbor. I was the matron of honor and the girls were flower girls. Bill was a good sport and kept track of the kids while I did my sisterly duties.

The girls and Baboo Sherwood (grandpa). Maddy and Baboo were dancing machines!
It was a great day.

Lake Havasu -Bill's Birthday

For Bill's birthday we took the boat to Lake Havasu. We rented a house and had a great time.

Mr Bill, 37 years old, and his younger wife :)

Miss P lost her tooth right before the trip. A few days later she lost the other top tooth.

The dude was such a good sport on the trip. It was so hot we had to put him in the water. He LOVED it! He is squeezed in that life jacket.

M jumping of the cliffs-the girls were soooo brave!

Mr Bill jumping off the highest cliff-he is crazy!

We had a great time just playing in the water-did I mention it was HOT!

Just relaxing in the tube. Later that day Bill took Maddy in the tube-they fell out and she was NOT happy!

Emery was the first one off the cliff

First Day of School

School started for the girls. I LOVE the beginning of school. I always have. I love school supplies, all the pens, paper, markers, crayons and folders. It was so much fun to shop for all the stuff. I think I enjoyed it more than the girls.

P is in second grade this year. Her teacher is Mrs. Silverman. P likes her so far.
She said "she is strict but she has a treasure chest."

Some of the cute girls in her class.

E & M on their first day.

Second year of pre-school. Their teacher is Mrs. Aguirre, they love her. When I picked them up they told me they did not get any time outs. The teacher did tell me that they beat each other up. I figure it is better that they pick on each other instead of another kid. :)
