Girl's Night Out

A bunch of my girlfriends and I went out to dinner on Friday night. Then...we went to see the Twilight movie! We had been planning for weeks. Yes, we are all fans, kind of embarrassing I know. We stood in line with all the teenagers and fought with them for good seats.

A beautiful self photo of Denise, Teisha, myself (double chins and all) and Jenny! Check out our totally cool Twilight necklaces. Angela's girls made those. We had a great time, we laughed so hard we cried-not at the movie, I just think we hadn't been out in a while.
Until next time ladies. :)

HALLOWEEN

Halloween in our neighborhood is a big deal. All the neighbors decorate their houses and sit on the porch and hand out candy. We invite family and friends over for dinner and to trick-or-treat. It is always a lot of fun. Here we all are on the porch. M wanted to be a witch and E wanted to be a kitty. Can you believe it, they are not dressed the same!Aunt Shae-be, M and Pat Pat. A few years ago Pat Pat came dressed as Chiquita Banana and it has become a tradition. The girls won't let her come as anything else.
Baboo Sherwood was in charge of the candy most of the night- he is dressed as a vampire chef. I don't know how he came up with that.

Mamoo as a witch and Baboo Vic as Robin Hood.

Pat Pat and Chase, this is the first year Chase could join us. He was proudly sporting his Danny Zuko T-birds jacket.

Tiny P wanted to be a "black widow" spider. She designed the costume all by herself, with a little help from mom. :)

Billy and I. Bill actually had on a costume but apparently he got hot. I wore my traditional Halloween t-shirt- this year it says "Mummy Tummy". I can't believe next year we will have one more trick-or-treat- er.

Apparently I have NO WILLPOWER!

I am embarrassed to admit this, especially after making such a big deal about it, but I gave in. I only lasted 3 days! It did not help that every 5 seconds Bill would say, "do you wanna know?" 5 seconds later..."You know you want to know." It happened at the pumpkin patch. Bill asked again, and I told him I only wanted to know if it was a boy. If it was a girl, I could wait. I guess that was what he needed to hear because the next thing that was out of his mouth was..."It's a BOY!" Bill has wanted a boy for so long it must have been frustrating not to be able to share the news. I guess I can get rid of the eight thousand boxes of pink clothes that I have saved in the garage. Now I have an excuse to shop!

The proud daddy of three girls and a boy on the way!

We're having a...baby!

We are expecting baby # 4 at the end of February. Yesterday, was my 20 week ultrasound. It may not look like it, but that is the baby's profile.

To all my crazy friends who like to plan, NO I DO NOT KNOW THE SEX OF THE BABY! :) I want to be surprised and Bill wants to know what it is. He claims he needs time to adjust if it is another girl. :) So, I told the ultrasound tech that I did not want to know and that Bill did want to know. I looked away when she was in "that area". Bill stayed in the room after and found out the sex of the baby. He has asked me multiple times, "do you want to know?" I keep telling him "no". He claims it is not as much fun to know by himself. He may be accepting bribes, one of my friends is offering to make him cookies just so he will tell her. If you have any good bribes you may be able to find out...just don't tell me. :)

Utah Trip Oct 2008

We made a QUICK trip to Utah. We went to visit Bill's brother and his little girl. Bill and I lived in Utah for about 10 years, we have good memories and shared some of them with the girls.

On our way. A gas station in Fillmore, notice the bag of "treats" we picked up at the gas station- you have to have treats for the road, yummy!

We went to a park in Salt Lake. It had this crazy toy where the kids sat and spun around, they LOVED it! Oh, and it was COLD!!!

E, M, P and Maizie at the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. That place was huge. The girls loved it.

One whole room was a giant stream table with sand, water, and little dinosaurs the kids could bury. We spent almost an hour just in that room.

Bill and P and her "tree island"

Then...we went to the barn and saw lots of animals. The girls went on a pony ride and got to pet the animals.

On the last day there is SNOWED! The twins have never seen snow. We had a great time making snow angels and even made a snowman.

I really was there, I just took all the pictures. My scarf is on the snowman to prove I was there.

On our way out of town we stopped by EAST High School, look familiar to any HSM fans out there? P could not believe that she was there and that her grandparents actually attended high school there (before they remodeled).

Birthday Party

We celebrated the twins birthday this past weekend. They wanted a Dora/Diego themed party. We had a bounce house and a pinata. The bounce house was a huge success, even with the adults. :)

Still SCARY!

Bill's cousin Natalie and her husband Justin came to visit us this weekend. They decided to go to Knott's Scary Farm, and we went with them. The last time I went to Knott's Scary Farm was 20 year ago!!! I remember it well, I twisted my ankle and Elvira was a headlining act. It was scary then and it is still scary!

I was the only pregnant lady (that I saw ) at the park. I could only go on one ride but I could walk through the mazes (soooo scary), I tried to use the pregnancy card but Bill made me go. Just because I am tall and blond (and Bill says I looked scared) lots of monsters kept following me. I would scream and then say "OK, OK, I see you, leave me alone." We sat down to take our picture thinking this was just a stuffed dummy. Just as the photographer says "three" the dummy screams and jumps! We all jumped and screamed!

We had a great time, thanks to Natalie and Justin for making us feel "young and somewhat cool" again.
